Everyone Contributes to Leadership

“This is not the time to shame or eradicate politicians; rather, it is a time to focus on leadership. Notice that we did not say focus on leaders -- we said focus on leadership. Remember that leadership is a phenomenon of influence that can emerge from any person or process in a situational footprint. This everyone-contributes-to-leadership factor is why some of our best leaders have not been thought of as appropriate candidates because they were not considered seasoned politicians” (Bishop, 2014).
